My Present Career


How many times have you said to yourself “I hate this job?” Too often people are in a career in which they are not satisfied. had a supervisor that did not know their limits physically or mentally? We as individuals, have different attributes that make us unique. In order to be an effective leader in any situation, one must know and understand their strengths and weaknesses. There are three areas in my life in that I am strong in and these areas also need improvement. They are my work environment, my personal life, and my learning team.


One’s strength’s are usually easier to see than the weaknesses. As for me the most important personal strength I possess at work is that I am strong willed person. I will not tolerate to be second best. If I believe in something I attack it whole-heartedly. In the work environment I am trusted upon to take on important tasks and short fused problems. I am used to leading Marines, and a leader cannot be weak. In my personal life this is strength as well. My friends and family come to me for help because they know that I will not quit on them. Finally my learning team can knows that I will get through this class no matter what it takes. I will succeed with or without their help. People know they can rely on me not to quit.


My weaknesses need more attention than my strengths however, this is not always the case.





At the same time, I may not like what I am tasked to do(is being asked of me ) but I will give it my all and try to do my best. My personal weakness is I am (being a ) pessimistic (person). I always look at situations and prepare for the worst. I don’t trust anyone and look at the bad before the good.

We as individuals must realize that we have many strengths and weaknesses, and it is how we cope and learn from them that can make us stronger individuals.
